Clos du Val began its story on 150 acres of vineyards planted on some of the finest land in the now famous Stag's Leap district, they went on to buy a further 180 acres of vineyards in the slightly cooler climate Carneros regions. So now they use the best quality Napa Valley fruit to produce handcrafted, estate wines famed for their elegance, balance and complexity.

A highly polished Pinot Noir. Lovely juicy cherry, warm spices and savoury aromas lead you into the glass. The palate is beautifully layered with delicate tannins, playful ripe red fruits mingling with an abundance of herbs and spice with great depth. It's undeniably new world but its got some seriously old world sophistication! Great with lamb or roast duck with a cherry or redcurrant sauce.
