The driest of all the classic varietal Madeiras, aged for 10 years in American Oak casks using the 'canteiro' system; the gradual heating of barrels in lofts by moving the barrel from top floor to middle floor to lower floor. Lovely, fresh, mouth watering tropical fruit with a long tangy nutty finish. Can be slightly chilled as an aperitif.Alan says
