Viognier 2010 Domaine de Brescou France £8.99
Ripe peach and apricot, elegant and opulent. Ripe furry peach, white blossom, good intensity in the mouth, Long spicy fruit finish.
 
Sauvignon Touraine 2011 Domaine de La Rablais £9.75
Very herbaceous, pea pod, zingy nettle nose! Almost peach caharcter, hints of passion fruit, good balance and long finish.
 
Minervois 2011 Cuvee Ines Le Moulin de Nonnes £10.99
40% Grenache Blanc, 50% Rousanne, 10% Muscat, Vinified seperately and then aged for 6 months in French Oak. Certified organic. Big nose, quite obvious oak, honied, peach and apricot, but oak dominating. Lean on the palate, no real length. Faulty bottle.
 
Macon Bussieres 2010 Domaine Thierry Drouin £13.75
Lovely peach and apricot, quite rich and complex. lovely mouthfeel, quite textured and bright. Good balanced finish.
 
Chateau Montaud 2011 Cotes de Provence
Usual suspects plus 10% Tibouren!
Copper coloured, classical Provence rose, gentle summer fruits, fresh on the palate, long strawberry fruit finish.
