An ever-so fresh and different white made from the Greco grape variety, which originated in Greece. To sniff there are apricot, clementine, lime, flint and orange blossom aromas. To taste, it’s an intense, medium bodied white with refreshing citrus fruit and an intriguing subtle salty flavour. Lovely long almond finish too. It’s a very versatile food wine but the intense minerality makes it especially good with oily fish such as salmon. You could also try it with seafood pasta (shrimp or scampi work very well) or pizza or serve with an olive, vine tomato and mozzarella starter.
