This wine from a single vineyard and single grape variety. Really careful selection in the vineyard and then back in the winery on the sorting table means only the very best grapes are put into the fermentation tank. After fermentation the wine was aged for ten months in very large oak barrels and the result is a delicious wine. Opulent red berry fruits nose with a hint of sweetness, the palate is bold, vibrant red and black fruits, the minerality of the soils shows through on the palate, finishing with a gently spicy mineral finish. Serve with spring lamb for a marriage made in heaven.
