The parcel is situated on the lower slopes, south of the village of Chassagne-Montrachet. The parcel covers 0.54 hectares in this appellation and the vines are aged 40 years on average. Here, the Chardonnay grows in two types of soil: light, gravelly soil at the bottom of the parcel and deep clay soil at the top. The wine is open and lively on the nose with notes of citrus and dried fruit. Ripe, seductive and beautifully balanced, fresh pear and peach flavours mixed with delicious dried fruit with a delicious finish. An elegant and distinguished 1er cru.
