On the nose, it releases aromas of wild berries like raspberries, red currants and blackberries. The structure makes it fresh and slightly tart on the palate with fine, elegant tannins. Spicier notes should develop as the wine ages but this is the most ‘feminine’ of the crus produced by Domaine Meix Foulot.
It pairs well with dishes such as lamb or duck, poultry and fish like monkfish or salmon. If the wine is young, open one hour before serving or it will keep easily for 7-10 years.
