Domaines Ott was founded in 1912 by Marcel Ott, an agricultural engineer from Alsace who dreamed of establishing a great wine estate near the Mediterranean. Today, the wineries are owned and managed by Champagne Louis Roederer and produce some of the world’s most prestigious wines, but particularly rosé wines, made at distinctively different estates in Bandol and Côtes de Provence appellations.
This wine is from their estate in Bandol and it is just beautiful; the Amps team unanimously voted to add to our list as it simply blew us away! A beautifully clear, pale peach hue and a fresh, fruity nose of apricot and grapefruit with delicate spicy notes. To taste it is fresh with lovely depth and delightful lingering flavours. Enjoy with all Mediterranean cuisine, roasted vegetables, cured meats, sushi and gently spiced Asian dishes.
