Edradour is the smallest distillery in Scotland and lies in the hills above Pitlochry in the southern Highlands. Subsequently only tiny volumes are produced (due to its size) and the three men (as there always have been) continue to make the whisky in the time honoured way that has gone on virtually unchanged for 150 years. Golden in the glass with a delicious aroma of sugared almonds and a hint of oloroso sherry. The smooth, creamy, light malty taste is followed by a mellow, warming finish.
