Merlot is definitely a grape variety that has adapted to Chile with great success. Following several years of experimentation, the Torres family have blended grapes from different origins to make an interesting Merlot. Great aromatic intensity, plum and blackberry jam mixed with spicy hints of vanilla and liquorice. Very attractive, rich, juicy and jammy on the palate, enriched with toasted notes from time spent mellowing in oak barrels. A winner with any red meats particularly barbecued such as beefburgers and sausages.
