This is a Quinta de la Rosa family favourite, named ‘Tonel 12’ after the barrel in which the family used to keep their aged tawnies. It has been aged for an average of 10 years so it has beautifully mellow flavours of dried fruit, particularly apricot and figs, with honey, almond and orange peel too. The lovely dry finish will have you craving a second glass! Serve chilled on its own as a summer port, with mince pies at Christmas or year round with a chocolate & orange tart.
