Vermentino is recognised as Sardinia’s most important white grape variety, a classic, but this wine is a new discovery for us and wow! Lots of complexity, texture and finesse. Delicate floral and ripe citrus fruit aromas, light in body, fresh lemony characteristics, a hint of stone fruit with a mineral texture and a salty edge on the finish.
Try with a chicken and rice traybake or lemon, garlic and parmesan spaghetti.
