Born in the Barossa Valley, Simon Hackett grew up in an agricultural family before starting in the wine trade at the age of 18, and establishing his own boutique winery in 1984. This juicy red has fragrant strawberry, red cherry, hints of chocolate, cinnamon and earthy aromas. On the palate there are sweet cherry, plum and mulberry fruit flavours wrapped up in a soft silky mouthfeel. A great wine to drink with a barbecue or pork belly.
