One of South Africa’s finest examples of Syrah. A Rhone style wine with hints of black pepper and other spice on the nose, with scents of flowers, plums and fynbos, the South African equivalent of garrigues. To taste it’s elegant and velvety smooth with plum and sour cherry, notes of cocoa and stony minerality with great length.
A solid choice with red meats, especially lamb or sirloin steak, flavoured with Southern French herbs (rosemary, thyme) or hearty casseroles.
