A flavoursome white from a 100 hectare estate in Portugal’s Douro Valley. Named Passagem after the abandoned mountain railway line found on the estate. It’s a beautiful aperitif with aromas of white fruits and orange blossom, fleshy stone fruit flavours, good minerality and a long citrus fresh finish. There’s enough complexity to pair with food thanks to 8 months ageing in barrel – try with mussels in a garlic and cream sauce, or with a selection of tapas.
