Orders We take payment on placing of the order, if an item is no longer available, we will offer a full refund or put the item on back order.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping The shipping cost will be added automatically when you place an order. Delivery is free for orders over £125 nationwide to UK mainland addresses (excluding Scottish highlands), and local deliveries (certain postcodes) are charged at £7.50. If you would like to check the cost of delivery before you place an order, please contact us on 01832 273502 between 9am-6pm Monday- Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturdays.
We aim to get all orders received by midday Monday to Friday for next working day delivery. Occasionally some deliveries will take longer, but we always aim to have deliveries with you in two working days. Should we have any issues with your delivery we will contact you by phone or email.
Tax Charges Current government duty rates and 20% VAT is included in the prices stated on our website.
Credit Card Security When you place an order on the website all credit card transactions are handled by Global Payments, P W Amps have no access to the information.
Data Protection The Company will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but unless the Company is negligent, the Company will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by you.
The Company will use the information you provide about yourself for the purpose of fulfilling your order. The Company would like to notify you of products and offers that may be of interest to you from time to time, and if you would not like to be notified of these, please email [email protected] heading your email ‘unsubscribe’. You can correct any information about you, or ask for information about you to be deleted, by giving written notice to the Company at: [email protected]
Reviews We use CusRev (customer reviews) to collect feedback on your purchases. After completing an order, if consent is given you may receive automated emails inviting you to review the products you have purchased. This helps us improve our service and share genuine customer experiences. Leaving a review is voluntary and you are under no obligation to respond.
Descriptions All wines are offered subject to availability. Due to the nature of wine supply, vintages may change without notice. While we make every effort ensure product descriptions are accurate, if the vintage advertised is different to that available, we will notify you and ask if you wish to proceed with your order.
Guarantee We want to make sure that you are always happy with the wines that you’ve bought from us. Should you find any wines to be faulty, please return the bottle with the contents to us as soon as possible, the next day is always best so that we can determine the problem with the wine for our records. We will offer either a full refund or another bottle to the same value.
