Distilled in the Cairngorm mountains and aged in charred ex-ruby port casks sourced directly from a cooperage in the Douro Valley in Portugal. Dark ruby colour giving sultanas, raisins, plums, walnuts, dark bitter chocolate and liquorice all bound in smoky molasses. This whisky has a bit of a cult following and you may know it’s cousin ‘Cu Dhub’.
