Luis Canas make truly wonderful Riojas. Made in a traditional way, this is classic Rioja with a modern twist. The wine spends 12 months ageing in wooden barrels, which are used to give a really smooth mouthfeel. The aroma is gorgeous and enticing which leads to ripe cherry fruit, sweetly spiced dried fruits and chocolate flavours. Very well put together. Ideal with roast lamb, meat paellas, roasted poultry or Spanish cured meats.
