Made from the Castelao grape one of Portuguese’s hidden gems and having spent 16 months in oak and 12 months in bottle, this is a wine that has taken lots of paitence in the making. This doesn’t shy away from the senses, it has an abundance of ripe black morello cherry fruit, forest fruits, lavender, charred wood, caffeine flavours and a smokey dense weight behind it. Wow what a wine!
