One of the principal components of Pombal do Vesuvio comes from the terraced vineyards that surround the ancient dovecote (‘pombal’ in Portuguese) planted primarily with Touriga Nacional during 2000 in the heart of this legendary Douro property.
Youthful red berry fruit , bramble fruits, spice and violets. The palate oozes concentration of red and black fruits with a good weight and mouthwatering fruit but with lovely freshness as well and a silky smooth tannin. This wine has been beautifully put together and will make a statement on any dinner table!
