The the vineyard at Chateau Monichot was purchased in 2022 by Michael and Sally, a Franco-English family.
Located in the Bordeaux region, Cotes de Bourg is a small, hilly region influenced by it’s proximity to the river. The vineyard and wines produced from it have been certified as Organic since 2001.
100% Merlot, this wine has spent 12 months maturing in concrete egg.
Aromas of red and black fruits, beautiful intensity and a full round palate. The tannins are silky and the finish is fruit laden.
