Mr Claude Pourreau, the owner of Château Les Moines since 1968, comes from a family of winemakers living in the heart of the Medoc. After various experiences in other fields of work, he finally decided to continue the family tradition and dedicate himself to his greatest passion: the vines. Numerous medals and awards plus flattering reviews certify the merit and the qualities of his wines.
A rich wine with a beautiful crimson colour. Intense, multi-layered nose of overripe red fruits, blackcurrant and blackberry with a hint of spice. To taste, it’s round, soft and full with more delicious red and black fruit flavours, well integrated tannins and great length. A fine Medoc to drink from 2015, but has excellent ageing potential.
