The Burgenland region in Austria provides ideal conditions for cultivating Blaufränkisch—a grape variety with centuries of history. Pretty floral and red berry fruit aromas, the palate gives way to a fresh and vibrant forest fruit with a touch of pepper. The excellent structure and balance is partly due to the 20 months used to age the wine in oak barriques and large wooden barrels.
