AJ Adam was established in 2000 with just one parcel of vines, mainly Riesling and today is only 5.5 hectares planted on steep slopes with all the fruit handpicked. The vines which produce the grapes for this wine are original from the 1960s, grown in the garden of the Catholic church, hence the name ‘im Pfarrgarten’. Winemaker Andreas manages to retain balance between minerality and acidity, residual sugar and fruit. Delicate aromas of white blossom and elderflower, lovely easy drinking style with stone fruit flavours. I would drink this with a Ramen, noodle soup dish.
