The the vineyard at Chateau Monichot was purchased in 2022 by Michael and Sally, a Franco-English family.

Located in the Bordeaux region, Cotes de Bourg is a small, hilly region influenced by it’s proximity to the river. The vineyard and wines produced from it have been certified as Organic since 2001.

100% Merlot, this wine has spent 15 months maturing in oak vats. Aromas of red fruit, wild strawberries and spices. The palate has a good balance, lovely texture wiith toasty notes, and an ever so slight grip on the finish
