Domaine Carneros was established in 1987, a joint venture between Champagne Taittinger and Kobrand Corporation (one of the USA’s key wine players). Claude Taittinger visited the Carneros region and saw the potential to produce world class sparkling and still Pinot Noir wines and so this organic estate was formed!
An organic and extremely aromatic Pinot Noir with oodles of cherry and raspberry fruit on the nose, whilst the palate is full of bright, spiced fresh fruit and is silky smooth, a result of its 10 months spent in French oak. You cannot beat this wine with roast lamb.
