Grenache/Garnacha

Grenache is a smooth and plump grape often found in Côtes du Rhône Rosé. It is soft on the pallet while delivering spicy and red berry flavours. Pairing well with herbs and spices, this wine is a fantastic pairing for wild experimentation in the kitchen. Albarino in Spain or Alvarinho in Portugal has been gaining in popularity with more plantings appearing in different countries. The grapes make wines which have bright zippy acidity and rich fleshy stone fruits, pairs wonderfully with seafood.
