The Biscardo family have been making wine for over 150 years, with brothers Maurizio and Martino currently running the operation. They’ve got it just right with this wine, as we think that it looks and tastes like a classy £15 bottle of red, and you agreed as it was the top selling red at our 2016 winter tasting! It smells spicy with velvety flavours of plum jam and black cherry. It’s really soft and drinkable, dangerously so, particularly with a hearty pasta dish or red meats.
