When Donelan set out to produce Pinot Noir, their desire was to produce a wine that embraces the best aspects of great Pinot Noir from Sonoma County. A blend from four different vineyards, this pinot represents a confluence of influence – the interaction of multiple sites, subsections of blocks, whole-cluster inclusion, and new French oak.
Aromas of bramble fruit, forest floor and a savoury edge.
The palate is concentrated and elegant, lots of dried raisin fruit, red berries, black cherry, baking spices and an incredibly silky tannin structure. The finish goes on….and on….and on. A magnificent wine!
