A tale of two vintages. A very exciting comparison between the 2015 and 2018 Vergelesses. 2015 had pretty aromas of blossom, peach and orchard fruits and the palate has delicate smokey character with fleshy stone fruit and green apple flavours, a mix of herby characteristics to; there’s a textural creamy structure and it finishes with a hint of floral that lingers on the palate for some time. This is drinking beautifully now. Summed up in one go: Elegant and complex.
