An irresistible Italian red, hugely drinkable, with aromatic purity and exceptional value for money. Grapes are harvested into perforated trays and left to dry slightly in the ‘appassimento’ process.
They’re then gently pressed, fermented and aged partly in tank, partly in tonneaux for 6 months. The result is an exuberant juicy, fruit bomb of a wine with black cherries, plum compote, velvet smooth
tannins and luscious ripe fruit through to the finish making this immensely appealing and a real crowd pleaser!
