Retail Sales Person
A full time role has arisen within our retail sales team for an individual that is able to adapt to a fast paced environment, has the determination to succeed and help drive our success even further. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading Independent Wine Merchants selling great wines.
The Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for looking after the retail sales at the Market Place shop, seeking to grow sales with existing Amps Wine Merchants customers and to attract new customers. The role will also include warehouse work and delivery driving as and when required. Evening work will occasionally be required to support wine tastings and Saturdays will be worked on a rotation basis.
Applicants for this sales role should have a keen interest in wine, WSET qualifications would be an advantage, but not essential.
Skills and experience
- The ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of customers is essential.
- Must be self-motivated with a positive outlook and excellent communication skills.
- Driving licence is essential.
